Calibration of UV LED lamps
Since 2017 we have improved method for calibration of stationary and hand Ultraviolet (LED) lamps. Etalon probe that is measuring of intensity is mounted to precise positioning device which measures illuminated field in dimensions up to 400 mm x 400 mm.
Measuring runs in dimension of 400 mm according to norm ČSN EN ISO 9934-3 or in distance of 381 mm (15 inches) above illuminated field according to ASTM norms. For measuring we are using UV light meter, that is radiometer reacting on light spectrum with wave length of 300 – 400 nm. Result of measuring and analyses of measured values are maximum intensity, intensity profile that matches norm and contour profiles (elevation, footprint etc.). Thank to this new method you gain precise vision of UV-A lightning in every point of illuminated field and also guarantee that device (source of UV-A light) is working according to norm ČSN EN ISO 9934-3 for non-destructive testing and partly for norm ASTM which specifies parameters for measuring of LED UV-A lamps intended for NDT.
